"I can't say I enjoyed this movie as much as I did in theaters as I did
when I got the director's cut DVD for Christmas. Probably because my foot was
killing me in theatres, but that's besides the point. The first time I saw it
was in the theatres, and even then, it amazed me. I didn't expect it to be that
good, but maybe that's because I heard from other people that they thought it
looked boring. What is with these people, don't they know what a good movie is
when they see it? The same went for Alexander. I got the director's cut as a
present, and because I saw this movie like, two or three months ago, I had no
idea what was different (except for one or two scenes). The characters....are
spectacular. Truly.
Clive was brilliant (and gorgeous) and I couldn't really imagine anyone in his
place...Ioan was just awesome (gorgeous x 598247), he really portrayed a good
Lancelot. Mads was terribly cool, with the hair thing going on and his stoic
personality...gah, I love him. Joel was great. He looked so good with long hair,
and he played a good Gawain. Hugh was (and is) adorable! I liked his sort
of...angelic and innocent effect on people (save for his temper tantrums --
think Tristan). As for both of the Rays, I didn't like them much, although, Ray
Winstone is a very, very good actor. And for the music, Hans Zimmer is, as
always, a brilliant addition to the movie. Ahh...how I love his beautiful
compositions.
I just wish I had the patience to read Mists of Avalon."

"This movie was amazing. I had seen my first preview of it on the
internet (and had watched it over and over until my sister got really annoyed).
I knew it was going to be different from the original story, and it WAS really
different, but also really really good. It was so emotional and beautifully
done. The actors did an awesome job, and I loved the undertones of the whole
Lancelot and Guinevere romance.
Great movie. It's now my favorite. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry every
time I watch it, even if I watch it a hundred times. Poor Lancelot! (Yes, sadly,
that's the only thing that is going through my mind right now). I give the movie
ten stars."

"When I first heard about the movie I was overexcited. I love
everything to do with King Arthur, but when I saw it, it had little to do with
the fantasy fiction written by Sir Thomas Mallory. This movie is excellent
though. I'm a very tough verdict of movies but this one got on my A+ list,
which to add is quite short.
I love the honor and heroism and 'die for a cause that's not my own' attitude
from the knights. I especially love Tristan the 'lone wolf'; more like a
fanatic. And my friend is a fanatic about Lancelot.... and amazingly one's a
fanatic about Bors :P.
I recommend this movie! I thought it had awesome dialogue and action. Perfect
in every way!"

"It's another one of those movies that give me pride. As I watched it in
the theatre, I was blown away by the scale of an epic that the creators created.
It's an amazing movie, with incredible acting, scenery and a great plot line! I
also like the fact that they didn't make Lancelot out be full of himself, and on
an ego trip. I liked how they focused on the knights as a whole, not just a few
characters or just Arthur and Lancelot. It's great, and a must see for all the
Arthurian Legend lovers!"
